The Garage Band Club

Lets say theres a group of 20 garage bands enthusiasts or musical groups themselves. They can have each member download and install the software on their home PC. One member takes out a subscription for the HUGE package (2GB) and emails everyone the login information.

This would allow each person to access the music of each members PC. This would be a great way to create a private music club.

The Design Agency

Graphic designers produce HUGE files for output bureaus and clients. When a file is over 2mb most ISPs wont allow it in the mail queue. Also, emailing a file causes it to "bload" up to 30% (due to arcane programming issues we won't get into here). File4ward allows the design Agency to log into the service, access the machine that has the files (including the machine they are sitting at) and send the file to the customer or print bureau using our Filepickup aspect. Any file over 2MB is detected and routed through our special network and an email with a pickup link is issued. This means the service bureau can just click the link in the email and the file is downloaded.

The file upload area is password protected and all files are virus scanned. The file remains on the server for 48hours before deletion providing plenty of time to fetch the file.
